The ReBuilder System

The ReBuilder System is a self administered treatment that can be done in the comfort of your home. It will stop the pain, numbness, burning sensation, and pins and needles sensations that are affecting the quality of your life.

Unlike common TENS devices that merely block pain signals, the ReBuilder does the opposite... the ReBuilder opens up the nerve paths and re-educates them so that normal signals can finally get through.  The increase in blood flow from the ReBuilder causes muscle contractions and actual healing can be accomplished, not just masking your pain.

Neuropathy Mystery Solved

People just like you, all over the globe, have discovered that their nerves can be rebuilt and full function restored. It does not matter what the cause of your neuropathy is: idiopathic, diabetic, chemotherapy induced, or trauma to the lower back.  The basic cause is all the same.  Portions of your nerves were starved for oxygen. They responded with the only survival tool they had: they shriveled themselves inward, they reduced  their length to conserve energy, and the gaps between the nerves were stretched to the point that a normal sized nerve signal could no longer jump this gap. Like the gap on the spark plug in your car or lawn mower, if that gap gets too big, the spark cannot jump across.

This increased gap, like the spark plug that has too big a gap, made it difficult for normal nerve impulses to pass from one nerve to the other. This means that some of the impulses accumulated until they were big enough to violently jump the gap. You may have felt this as a shooting pain. These blocked nerve signals may have been perceived as numbness. Without proper connection to your brain, the blood vessels in your skin respond unpredictably and this can be perceived as burning or tingling. This process can be progressive and eventually result in gangrene and amputations.

 Why does the ReBuilder work?

The ReBuilder sends a tiny electrical signal (10 times larger than normal) that exactly imitates a healthy nerve signal from one foot to the other, 7.83 times each second. This signal moves from the right foot, up to the ankle, to the knee, to the thigh, and then across the lower back.  It then moves down the left thigh, pass the left knee, all the way to the left foot. Then it reverses its direction sending it's signal from the left foot all the way to the right foot. Between each signal, your ReBuilder measures the integrity of your nerves and adjusts the parameters of the next signal to exactly match your particular body and its response to the signal. This wakes up all the nerves in the entire lower half of your body and re-educates the nerve paths so that subsequent normal signals can get through and can follow the right path to the brain. These healthy signals encourage the nerve cells that have shrunk from lack of oxygen to relax and reach out to one another making it easier for subsequent normal signals to work properly. During your actual treatment, you may have complete relief from all symptoms. This relief can last for 4 to 8 hours and increases in the level of relief and lasts longer each time you use your ReBuilder.

At the same time that this is happening, your ReBuilder is sending comfortable signals to your calve muscles causing them to contract and relax. This causes the venous muscle pump to propel blood back up to the heart. This strengthens your leg muscles and increases the blood supply so you can walk further, with more confidence, and without the fear of tripping or falling. Your ReBuilder even has a separate muscle stimulation setting to use to really strengthen your muscles after you have repaired your nerve function.

As a final method of action, your ReBuilder triggers your brain to release endorphins (internal pain relievers with no side effects). Because endorphins travel via the blood supply, they travel to all parts of your body reducing pain and discomfort in other parts of your body like a sore back or hip or hands. These endorphins can also produce a kind of euphoria that runners call a "runner's high". This may account for the benefit that MS patients report. 

The result is that you will feel total relief during the 30 minute treatment, and then major relief for 4 to 8 hours afterward. The benefits accumulate with each treatment, so it lasts longer each time, and the initial level of symptoms begins at a lower level just prior to each treatment.

What is the difference between the 2407 and the 3000 model?  

Which one is best for me?

The primary differences are power and portability. If you have advanced neuropathy, particularly with severe numbness, the 2407 model is your best choice. If you have moderate neuropathy, and cost is a major factor, then the 3000 model is the better choice. Both units have identical waveforms specifically designed to:

• open nerve channels, rebuilding and re-educating them for fast symptomatic relief,
   

• and stimulate calf muscles to strengthen them, while increasing local blood circulation.

For Advanced Numbness... The 2407 Model has 33% more power, and is used primarily for those patients who have advanced numbness, severe enough to interfere with their mobility.  The 2407 Model now has THREE frequency settings. 1) The primary setting is for stimulating and re-educating nerve paths to eliminate pain and severe numbness. This is unique to The ReBuilder Models. 2) It also has an EMS setting (electronic muscle stimulation) setting to strengthen leg muscles that have atrophied due to disuse and due to pain and/or numbness. This helps with balance and gait issues.  The EMS setting also helps to increase local blood circulation to the legs and feet and can be used to interrupt severe muscle cramps in the back and calves. 3) The 2407 now comes with a TENS setting. (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) TENS prevents pain messages from being transmitted to the brain by and also have been sown to raise the level of endorphins (natural pain killers produced by the brain). The 2407 model can be plugged directly into the wall to save on buying replacement batteries and to provide the option of 33% more power for severe neuropathy. Large adjusting knobs and printing on the case make it easier to operate for those with vision problems, or who have arthritic hands.

For Pain and Moderate Numbness... The 3000 Model has two separate outputs, enabling the patient to treat two areas simultaneously, such as the lower back and the feet. The 3000 unit is miniaturized and battery operated, so that the patient can choose to wear the device on their belt to treat symptoms for longer periods of time, particularly to treat muscle spasms in the lower back.   The 3000 is designed to be wearable, particularly for those whose neuropathy is caused primarily by lower back and sciatic nerve issues. (Approximately 60% of patients suffering from neuropathic symptom do not have diabetes: their symptoms are either caused by or exacerbated by lower back problems.) Here is what one doctor, a board certified neurologist, says about the ReBuilder™: I found out about the ReBuilder™ in an unusual way. Normally, a detail man, employed by a pharmaceutical company buys the girls in my office lunch and then informs me about the latest drug, hoping I will write prescriptions for his drug rather than a competitor's.
